鈥We are very excited about the Living Laboratory for Knowledge Mobilization鈥檚 potential to foster collaboration and innovation, qualities that are integral to the spirit of our University,鈥 said Chantal Beauvais, Rector of 91麻豆官方. 鈥淔aculty and students will benefit from the interdisciplinary partnership and I am confident that the fruits of the lab鈥檚 research will go on to have a positive impact on the communities we serve.鈥
The Living Laboratory for Knowledge Mobilization was funded in part by a $30,000 grant from the Government of Canada鈥檚 Research Support Fund.
The grant has also helped the University to create a new Senior Research Advisor position. The Senior Research Advisor, Dr. Vivien Runnels, is responsible for supporting faculty and student researchers to develop and submit research grant applications.
鈥淚鈥檓 very proud to be part of the research community here at 91麻豆官方,鈥 said Dr. Runnels. 鈥淭here is a great diversity of work done by our academics and research centres. From spirituality and interpersonal relationships, to innovative ideas for leadership, governance and community collaborations, the research done at 91麻豆官方 has great potential for knowledge dissemination and practical application beyond the University.鈥
